This SmartPetLove Snuggle Puppy is a brown stuffed puppy that the company says recreates the intimacy that puppies and dogs feel when they are with their mothers. It has a disposable heat pack that lasts up to 24 hours and a pulsing heartbeat.
This puppy is supposed to reduce negative behaviors, like whining, barking, howling, etc… through a natural instinct method. It claims it eases crying, loneliness and separation anxiety in pets.
The company also claims it works to transition dogs and puppies to a new home and helps them sleep through the night.
Snuggle puppy’s disposable heat pack is safe for pets and people. The pulsing heartbeat will last up to two weeks of 24/7 use and uses two AAA alkaline batteries, which are included. The puppy can be machine washed with the heart removed.

My pug, Penelope was in a kennel for the first two years of her life. She has separation anxiety when I leave her alone. She howls. I tried several products, without any luck. In the last month, I bought a diffuser and a Thunder Calming shirt. Between the two items, it seemed to help a little. I saw the Snuggle puppy at Petco a few weeks ago and debated, but didn’t buy it. It was $40. Finally, at my wit’s end, I went and bought the puppy. Penelope took right to it. She was very curious about it and kept smelling it. Then she started licking it and I knew she liked it. She snuggles with it, not all the time, but a lot. When I leave her now, she has her snuggle puppy right beside her. Her anxiety is not completely cured, but the snuggle puppy has definitely helped her feel more comfortable when she’s home alone. I would buy this product again.
