It collects all the hair perfectly.
It hasn’t gotten wet yet so I can’t speak for that, but the bottom of the liner is lined with rubbery dots that also prevent the liner from moving.
The fabric is high quality and sturdy, there are extra fastens on this one than most others- the ones that fasten under the front of the seat are so smart and keeps it from flipping up or sliding around on the seat.
Its not as plush as it looks in the pictures but for me that was a good thing, it kept my puppy from trying to chew it.
This car seat cover is great. I drive a Honda CRV and it fit perfectly, I had to tighten the head rest straps a lot but that is to be expected since I don’t drive a large model car.
I purchased this hammock seat cover and installed it right away; very easy to do. It is durable, heavy-nothing flimsy about it; stays securely in place for my two dogs and makes the ride far more comfortable for our larger dog.
This fits perfectly in my Subaru outback and washes very easily (Warm gentle cycle, lie flat to dry). It functions as a car seat / floor protecter and also a hammock that keeps him secure and from falling onto the ground on short stops.
My dogs are fairly active so they get pretty dirty on our outings so this has been a game changer. It’s kept a whole pile of dirt and sang out of my car, not to mention all of the hair that Husky and Mal have left inside the car. It’s easy to put in and take out to clean (it’s more of a two person job when taking it out if it’s really dirty). It fit my Hyundai Elantra pretty well; I had to fold one side in a little, but for the most part it fits really snug.
Goldendoodle puppy figured out how to go over the top of the Hammock and enter the front driver and passenger area of the car. Puppy ended up sitting on the passenger’s lap for the remainder of the car ride. I will need to look at sturdier car fence type partitions. The hammock works to protect the car’s back seat from moisture and dirt. The hammock also works for sleeping dogs. But the hammock does not work to restrain an active dog, nor protect loose dogs from going through the windshield if a car crashes.
