What Pug lovers LOVE About Their Pugs!

All the pug parents that I know are absolutely CRAZY about their pug(s). What is it about these little dogs that make us so addicted to them?

They are little clowns!

They love attention. They love to show off and they enjoy making us laugh. If you are having a bad day, just spend some time with your pug- you’ll end up laughing.

They have expressive eyes!

When a pug looks at you, you can usually guess what they are trying to say.

Pugs love to be dressed up!

Pugs don’t care. You can dress them in anything and they will look adorable. Dress them to go for a walk, to go shopping, to go to the vet, etc… Pugs will let you dress them and then usually prance around and show off.

Pugs love company!

Pugs love to be with their owners, but they also are very sociable dogs and love to meet other people and dogs. It makes a pug’s day when he/she can go for a walk and get attention from other people and dogs. Be careful around aggressive dogs though- Pugs are lovers, not fighters.

Pugs love to eat!

When was the last time you sat down to eat and your pug was not staring at you? Yeah… me too. Pugs are sneaky. They will pretend to be hungry just so they can get a bite of whatever you are eating. It’s ok to give your pug a bite, but make sure it’s food that won’t make him/her gain weight.

Pugs love belly rubs and massages!

My pug loves massages as much as I do. Just start scratching a pug’s back or belly and your pug will usually roll over so you can do more. There is not much a pug loves as much as a massage or belly rub… except for food.

Pugs love to snuggle!

* Pugs are snuggle bugs and will snuggle with you anywhere you lie down.

* They usually want to be close and even touching their humans and that’s ok- we love it too.

Pugs are Noisy!

Pugs make all kinds of noise: snoring, snorting, wheezing, grunting, eating noises, et… We pug parents love our noisy little pugs and take comfort in those noises.
